July 15 - Anderson County ABATE meeting, 11:00 a.m. at Tillman's Lounge

July 15 - Family III Fun-Run, sign up at Twisted Spoke; 12:00 to 2:00; short, quick run playing pool, throwing dice and darts and drawing cards for points. Last bike in by 5:30 at Pass-N-Time. 50% payout of game card proceeds to highest scoring player and game card fee ($15) back to lowest score. $15 single; $25 double entry fee.

July 29 - Last Chance Pig Pickin' & Poker Run, Last Chance in Walhalla

AUGUST 2006

August 4 thru 6 - 1st Annual Ride the Lake Bike Rally and Swap Meet at Anderson Co. Fairgrounds; featuring Foghat in concert Friday night and Kansas on Saturday. Bike games, vendors, contests, camping, live music all day. Weekend pass - $25 in advance; $30 at the gate or 1 day pass for $20.

August 7 thru 13 - Sturgis Black Hills Rally

August 12 - Benefit In-House Run/Games/Meal for Greg Hill (nephew of Ronnie Hill) at the Twisted Spoke; starting at 4:00 p.m.; more details soon.

August 19 - Anderson County ABATE Chapter Meeting, 11:00 a.m. at Tillman's Lounge

August 26- 4th Annual Weasel's Night Ride, rain or shine, sign-up at Mark & Jeannie's 4:00 to 5:30; last bike in at 9:00 p.m.; $25 solo and $40 couples
